Those are some terrific thrift store treasures! That train is really beautiful. It was my lucky week at the thrift store too -- a few nice wood toys made their way into my cart, and for just a couple dollars, my kids were delighted. I am a wood-toy junkie :) Wow! We've actually become thrift store addicts lately and now visit once a week. We score toys, clothes, and other assorted items for cheap, all while saving the planet. My favorite part of our trip last week was when my two-year-old son left the store overjoyed declaring that he had gotten a "brand-new" toy. We got a bunch of toys as hand me downs from some people my husband works with. At first we thought they were just trying to unload some old kid stuff, but the toys are in great shape and my daughter loves them. A lot of second hand toys are in great shape so as long as you give them a good cleaning before letting your kids play with them, you have some great toys that didn't cost an arm and a leg!
