And the post from Money Smart Life about rebates sums up exactly how I feel. I hate rebates! Whenever we’re shopping for something with a rebate, I invariably complain about it, and my husband (who has a degree in marketing) reminds me that companies like rebates better than direct discounts because so many people don’t follow through and get their money back. Sort of like 0% interest offers from credit cards – there’s a reason why they’re available.Â
