It seems like a conspiracy to me. THEY collect your info, use some mysterious formula that you only get general info about, and profit off of people using these scores. It should be easily accessible, anytime, by anyone.

My annoyance with the credit industry is what really spurred me to pay off all credit card debt as quickly as possible. Only a month and a half left.

I just got a credit card from WaMu and they had my credit score on the letter that came with the new card. First time I have seen that, and I had never know my score before. It was very high.

I don't know if it's a conspiracy on their part, but you're right that they get to charge higher if you don't know your rating.

The industry profits most off people who aren't in control of their finances. Or who only pay minimums. Or who take higher interest.

I've failed twice and getting my credit score, recently. I'm trying to get a free one, but it's hard. Especially since my credit is still tied in with my parents' and I don't know all their info.

If you do find out how to get the score, please post it on here!
