A Sweet Deal

My brother just got offered a job.  It’s at the place he’s been working on a temp basis, but now it’s permanent.  It pays $60/hour.  He’ll have full benefits.  And he has to work at least 10 hours a week.  That’s not a typo – 10 hours minimum in order to keep his benefits.  I’m stoked for him, but I’m a little jealous too.  How does one stumble upon such a gem?  Oh yeah, a computer science degree and programming ability, neither of which I have.  I started wishing that I had studied computer science in college too.  But then I remembered that I was never interested in it, and still am not – it’s just the idea of a $60/hour job that piques my interest.
