Our Anniversary

My husband and I celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary on Saturday.  I had to work at the library until 5, so he spent the day getting our vegetable garden planted - best gift ever!  Pretty much everything is done in our yard now, all we have to do is keep it all growing.  When we got married, we went to a brew pub in Telluride right afterwards and sampled their brews.  My husband loved their coffee beer, so I’m always on the lookout for beer brewed with coffee beans.  It’s a rare find.  One of my friends told me about a local brewery that makes a coffee beer, so we thought that would be a great way to celebrate our anniversary.  We headed over there on Saturday evening, but alas, the place is more of a tasting room than a bar, and they had closed at 6pm.  Bummer.  So we came back home and had a glass of wine instead.  Total cost for our anniversary:  $25 that my husband spent on plants for the garden (we’ll get far more than $25 worth of veggies from them over the summer) and about $5 for the wine.  No need for a fancy dinner out - I had made a huge lentil curry the night before because I knew I’d be at work on Saturday and my husband was going to be working in the yard all day.

On another happy note - my resized ring arrived yesterday!!!  So happy!  I still love it, and it fits perfectly this time.
